Ikusi presents at the 145 Slot Conference in Brisbane the Condor slots management and monitoring solution to increase the operational capacity of the airport
- Ikusi presents at the 145 Slot Conference in Brisbane the Condor slots management and monitoring solution
- Condor helps airports maximize their operational capacity
- More than 200 million passengers travel in airplanes whose slots have been coordinated by Condor.
Ikusi will present its solution at stand 409 at the International Convention Centre in Brisbane (Australia) from 12 to 15 November.
One of the main processes that guarantee the operational efficiency of an airport is the management and coordination of slots. Condor is an application that allows you to plan and monitor slots based on the different resources that limit the capacity of the airport.
Condor improves airport capacity utilization by verifying in real time the infrastructure capacity needed to confirm, reject or propose alternative schedules for the use of airport resources in a given period of time. It makes it possible to attract new operations with the same infrastructure; it provides the capacity to be able to distribute the demand for operations according to the historical and needs of airlines.
It also encourages airlines to engage in healthy competition to meet allocated slots and helps improve air traffic load management through close collaboration between the airport and air navigation authorities by sharing data.
Condor allows the planning of seasonal slots, monitoring the fulfillment of assigned slots, quickly identifies limiting resources, manages Ad-hoc changes requested by airlines, and in an automated way.
In addition, it has a free registration portal for airlines to view flight planning, check availability of runway capacity, on-line coordination and check compliance progress during the season.
Condor is aimed at those organizations or entities that wish to coordinate an airport or airport network: slot coordination associations, airport facilitators such as airport handling agents or planning departments, civil aviation authorities or other stakeholders in charge of slot coordination.
